Romanian Civil Society: data, research, and professionalization needs

Romanian Civil Society: data, research, and professionalization needs – the study conducted by Centrul pentru Studiul Democrației (CSD) analyzes the needs of the Romanian civil society and non-profit sector in terms of knowledge, data/research, skill/training, and resources.

The conclusions of the study underline the following needs as being relevant for the non-profit sector:

1. Developing easily accessible and practically relevant data and studies for the sector;
2. Developing training programs to build sector capacity in understanding, utilizing, and producing data on the sector’s activity and other related topics;
3. Advocating for the imrpovement of the government’s data collection practices.

CSD is a research center founded in 2006 at the Faculty of Political Science at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj, Romania.
