Dinu Bumbăcea

Dinu Bumbăcea is the Country Managing Partner of PwC Romania, where he leads a team of over 800 professionals, across three lines of services – Assurance, Advisory and Tax & Legal. He is also the Advisory Leader of PwC Romania. Dinu is a graduate of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications of the University Politehnica of Bucharest, holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology US and a specialization diploma in digital image processing from Supélec France. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK) and of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR).

During his career, Dinu coordinated a wide range of consulting projects in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe, in various industries including financial services, energy, telecommunications, healthcare, public sector and private equity. He has extensive experience in deal services (including commercial, financial, operational and IT due diligence) and management consulting services (including business process re-engineering, lean management, finance function transformation, implementation of service costing systems and impact studies).

As a leader of PwC Romania, he contributes to the wider community through active involvement in the voluntary programs the company has engaged in through partnerships conducted with local universities or NGOs. Dinu established the PwC Foundation in 2000 and contributed to defining its strategy, as well as the selection and implementation of annual projects.
