CONTEXT

Fundația Friends for Friends will aggregate RAF grantees working in education around common challenges and facilitate their collaborative solution-searching.

Most NGOs recognize the importance of collaboration, yet they tend to remain focused on their own agendas and have limited time and resources for long-term joint efforts. Collaboration often occurs ad-hoc, in response to specific funding calls or as reaction to crisis and tends to dissolve immediately afterwards. As a result, the fragmented efforts of NGOs (RAF partners included)reduce their influence and limit their ability to drive systemic change.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

With the overall aim to enable collaboration among RAF grantees and other stakeholders, the program proposes the following key actions:

  • FFFF will facilitate the discussions of a core group of grantees working on education. During 10 sessions (online and offline), participants will work towards a common agenda and action plan.
  • Two events will bring together RAF grantees and 50 other key stakeholders, to consolidateand promote the key messages agreed by the core group of RAF grantees.
  • Two communication campaigns (to include articles and interviews) will disseminate key messages to relevant stakeholders and the general public.
